Crybaby Special Interest Would You Please Get Over Yourself!

I am sick of the double standard that has become the staple of our society. All of these crybaby special interest groups pushing for hypocritical legislation that does nothing but hurt society. A prime example of this is the Supreme Court of the United States Justice Nominee Judge  Sonia Sotomayer who was quoted as saying “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.” as well as being one of the Appellate court judges which upheld a city of New Haven, Connecticut decision to withhold promotions for 15 white firefighters who scored well on the promotion exam because there weren’t enough so called minorities who passed the test. This blatant display of not only racism but of an absolute disregard of her job which is to uphold the law, not personal ideology. Thankfully the supreme court overturned the decision and these Fire Fighters who worked hard and studied were given their promotions deeming the decision unconstitutional. Thank God there are still Justices that practice The Law. Now I know what you may be thinking that being as I am, The White Male Oppressor that the only reason this issue annoyed me was because the Fire Fighters were white well no the reason it pissed me off was because by denying the most qualified applicant to the job especially in positions where lives are on the line, putting under-qualified people in life and death positions no matter what their color causes people to DIE!!! Other examples of this “we demand equality but we still want special treatment” attitude can be seen any time you turn on the television or read a newspaper or news magazine these days. My feeling is fine I am more that happy to treat anyone as an equal. But if you want me to treat you equally then you do not get special treatment like special parking spots, the ability to move in front of people in lines and on aircrafts. A large majority of these people are screaming about equal treatment fine then you can park with everyone else for starters. If a people or group demand equality and also demand special treatment need to be told, you can have one or the other but not both. If these people are willing to be bound by the same rules and privileges as everyone else, then they should be treated equally. But if these people want to be treated with special consideration then guess what you are telling everyone “I don’t want to be equal to my fellow man”, and  admit that you are not as good or equal a human being as those who are willing to be bound by the rules of society without special consideration. Yet it appears that there are a myriad of these group Like the A.C.L.U (American Civil Liberties Union), C.A.I.R (Council on American Islamic Relations), La Raza (The Race) An extremist Latin Organization, and the A.A.P.D (American Association of People With Disabilities) that fight and complain and lobby for equality with special conditions. We as a people need to tell these people and organizations that this kind conditional equality is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. These people have been hiding behind their disability or “minority” status to tell people that they are not equal rather than proving that they are equal by hard work, personal responsibility, and making it known that they are just as capable as the next person.

My final point on this is “quite whining about being treated unfairly because guess what life is not fair, so shut up and start acting like a viable asset to society.”
