The White Male Oppressor Speaks

Well now I have been hearing about an organization that a few of you may have heard of P.E.T.A (People for the ethical treatment of animals) which as I found out their actions are the opposite of ethical. Recently PETA has been making themselves look like a well funded joke. For example, this month PETA protested outside the annual convention for the American Veterinary Medical Association because they had the very fun and entertaining Pikes Place Market fish throwers. Why you ask? Well it turns out that not only are they whole heartedly upset by the notion of throwing dead fish as a way to glorify a perceived  slaughter but because of how they are treated before they get to the market. These people amaze me with their level of  humorous chaos. Here’s the article with video from KHQ TV spokane. 

That is not the least of it. PETA members stand on sidewalks out side of elementary schools to get a little indoctrination in on your kindergartner. They hand out literature to the children and because they are on the public sidewalk there is not a thing that can be done about it. You may be thinking what could it hurt for an Organization that cares about animals to give pamphlets to the kids? Well I would rather show you this one than tell you. Here is the comic book PETA hands out to your children on the street without your knowledge or consent.

Does this look like a tactic of a sane non extremist organization? I think not.

And one more shining example of PETA’s Idiocy, an article on the Daily News Website reports that PETA is offended by the Iowa State Fair and their annual butter sculpture  which is of a cow. PETA wants them instead to use non-dairy spread to make their sculpture. Yeah because nothing says dairy like non-dairy spread. The bright side of all of this is at least if they keep this ridiculous crap up with as much enthusiasm as painting themselves green and laying topless on the sidewalk dressed as quasi fish or complaining about using butter for a sculpture, more and more people will see them for the extremist fruit cakes that they are.

This Administration, and I am not only referring to Chairman Obama but also to the democratic socialist ideology in congress that is spending this country into oblivion. The idea that we need more social programs we can’t afford so everyone suffers. For example with all the insane spending that the Obama Administration is doing and guess what liberals, you can no longer say he inherited shit because this is now all Obama, Pelosi, and Reed. Their spending is far outstripping our gross domestic product and now Obama and Congress want even more spending through the currently debated, unnecessarily large, and expensive health care bill.

The Government was never supposed to be all things for all people. Where in the constitution are you or anyone else guaranteed a home or a job or medical care for that matter? But what has happened? Over the last 30 to 40 years progressive ideology has fostered an entitlement mentality that has done wonders for the lazy, and people that imagine that they are oppressed and use that excuse to get their cradle to grave government care.

Just to give you an idea our national debt is, as of 1:02 Pm July 30, 2009 pacific standard time, $11,641,434,988,670. That is 11 trillion, 641 billion, 434 million, 988 thousand, six hundred and seventy dollars and it is climbing at an average rate of $1,000,000 every 1.5 seconds or $57,600,000,000 per day. Now to help put that into perspective the average American will earn between $2 and $5 million over the course of their lifetime or a maximum of 7.5 seconds of government spending at its current rate.

People have gotten on a kick about the cost of the Iraq War. Lets look at the numbers. The daily cost of the Iraq War is $274,000,000 which leaves $57,326,000,000 in daily spending. So as you can see the Iraq war is a very small percentage of the over-all cost of the daily expenditures of this nation.

Each person in this Country’s fair share of our debt is $188,959. If you want all these extra entitlement programs that only 40 percent of Americans are going to be paying for because 60 percent of the population does not pay taxes. Get out your checkbook and make out your check for $188,959 so those who decide that they deserve everything handed to them on a silver platter,  (yes I am looking at you welfare rats) can have what they want without working for it.

Well Shit. The scourge of the Earth is back in the news as  Summer moves forward and Autumn looms over our heads. You remember Swine Flu, oh I mean H1N1. They changed it from Swine Flu to H1N1 because they were scaring the Pork industry. As of the 21st of July, the global death toll from this scourge has grown to a whopping 700 according to the WHO (World Health Organization). And yet they are still touting this as a potential repeat of the flu epidemic of the early 20th century. Only 700 people have died world-wide in 4 months, with the media trying to scare the hell out of people. I say this only because in the United States alone the average death toll from influenza season every year runs around 36,000 people. And I am supposed to be afraid of H1N1?

Remember the last pandemic that was going to end humanity? The Bird Flu, which gave a lot of people in Asia the sniffles.  That was going to be the end of humanity back in 2006. The death toll from that hit a whopping 100 according to the WHO.  Are we starting to see a pattern of unnecessary panic?

Back in 2003 we had the global killer SARS (Sudden Acute Respiratory Syndrome) which from 2003 to 2009 has killed just over 700 people. My God SARS, SWINE, BIRD Flu’s combined have killed less people in the last ten years than 3 months every year of the regular flu that goes around.

Not to mention all the hype on the news about these God awful Salmonella outbreaks that made 1200 people get the shits. Every time they come out with one of these, they damn near destroy a food industry.  God I wish people would quit buying into all this hyped up garbage about the end of human civilization over a cold. (Get some chicken soup, tissues and some night-time cold medicine.)

You can make anything sound bad if you want to. For example, One substance that I think we should ban entirely is Dihydrogen Monoxide. The reason for this is that Dihydrogen Monoxide kills thousands of people and animals each year, it is used regularly in one form or another in mining, coal industry, oil refineries, and most other harmful polluting industries. Most people have this deadly substance in their homes, around their kids and pets. Stand with me in banning this chemical killer.

Sounds terrible doesn’t it. In fact if someone went up to the average person with a signature board promoting the ban, more people than not would probably sign it. But for those of you who are not laughing and are concerned about this deadly, horrible chemical scourge. Let me reassure you with a fact: Dihydrogen Monoxide broken down is 2 hydrogen molecules and 1 oxygen molecule more commonly known as H2O or water. I’ll bet a lot of you were ready to sign my petition though.

The whole point that I am trying to make here is look before you leap into all these scare tactics and do some research into the actuality of what the news is telling you because a lot of what comes out of journalist’s mouths these days are steaming piles of shovel ready projects.
